GBU, you have 30 days from the time you file to turn in your first payment to the Trustee. It can be as much as 45 days if you waited the max 15 days after filing to turn in your schedules. The first payment is usually by personal check, cashier's check or money order, depending on the preference of your trustee.
If you want to have your paychecks garnished tell the Trustee and he'll fill out the necessary forms and mail them to your company's payroll dept. If this is how you plan to make your payments, getting the first payment in on time is all you need to worry about. The Trustee will do the rest as long as you've set this up through him.

: When is the time they begin to deduct your paycheck? Is it right after 341 meeting, or how many days after that meeting? Is it automatically deducted or you have to sign check to pay first payment? Thanks!
