can my utilities still be shut off if I am in bankruptcy? We had a meeting with the creditors this morning and we came home to no gas service, we were told by our gas company that they had no file on record that we were filing bankruptcy, and they had the right to disconnect, even with my case number and my petition in hand they still disconnected, called the Ohio utilites commisioner and they were no help, said they can't get involved when its in bankruptcy court.. can someone please give advice on what we can do?
