Hi. Hopefully one of you can answer this question for me, as my attorney is on vacation until August 11. I filed for Ch 7 in 11/02 and received my discharge in 02/03. I currently live in a manufactured home in a park. Both the home and the property owner of the park were listed in the BK. So far, all payments have been kept up to date. My question is, we now have an opportunity to purchase a home at a 6.75% 5-year ARM (a much nicer home on acreage). Our lease is up with the park at the end of December. If in fact we are approved for this loan, would the property owner of the park be able to come after us for the remaining months of lot rent left on our lease? (This lease was signed prior to the BK). Thanks for any help or suggestions.
