Well let's sort out the situation wih that Chrysler. Why you signed to buy the car is irrelevant at this point.
If your attorney told you to NOT sign anything, DON'T! And don't give in to the ex either.
On your credit report, as far as who is the co-signer and such, it doesn't matter - on paper and the way it is reported, it is all the same. Eventually on your report it should say 'Included in Bankruptcy'.
