my husband and I filed chapter 7. the day we had to go to court my husband was absent due to his passing. he departed his life on 11/08/03 and we were to go to court on 11/12/03. i went to court to proceed. since then the trustee have ordered me to surrender all monies to him. can i request to stop the bankruptcy and pay the creditors myself? we were in financial trouble after he got sick and that's why we filed. I can pay the creditors now and I will. I don't need the courts to distribute the funds. i can do it myself!!!!!! somebody help!!!!!!!!!!!
