Merrick Bank Credit Card

I Want Credit Card Today

Has anyone ever heard of Merrick Bank?

It sounds like they are similar to Orchard, Household, HSBC and others in the subprime credit card market. Thought I'd share this... try www.merrickbank.com

I received a guaranteed $1,000 limit Visa credit card application in the mail today. No account setup fee or annual fee. 19.70% APR.

I don't want another credit card but I checked them out at www.merrickbank.com anyway. It looks like they are a new bank/company (established in 1996?) and they too specialize in people who want to reestablish or rebuild their credit.

In their FAQ section you'll see they have 3 tiers of credit with 3 different APR’s and annual fees.

In my particular case there were no fees at all but I have been working hard at getting my credit reports cleaned up, and I have a small 18-month car loan and a Visa credit card -- so maybe that's why.

They also say their credit limits range from $500 to $1,000 to start and that they periodically review accounts and consider them for credit line increases.

Anyway, these folks say they report monthly to all 3 CRA’s so I thought I'd pass on the info for those who may be interested.

Getting a credit card after bankruptcy is not difficult, below are some of the better offers including Merrickbank.com.

Hope this helps.
