: Screw a chapter 13 bankruptcy- that's all. What kind of a life is that?

================================================================
It is the type of life that if we had followed, would have kept us out of bankruptcy 13 in the first place. You must learn to budget, put away funds for emergencies, live within your means and realize that the old cars we have paid in full sure beats paying a monthly loan, and interest. It is better than having your home foreclosed on. It sure is nice to have the creditors stop calling all the time, better than having your wages garnished, your car repossed. If you learn from the experience, you come out with the ability to start saving money, pay off your mortgage faster, pay no more huge interest rates on credit card balances, and a fresh start towards financial health.

As you so elequently stated: "Screw a chapter 13 bankruptcy- that's all. What kind of a life is that?
It is a life where you lose your home, lose your cars, live with massive debt, lose your ability to get any credit now and the future, can;t pass a credit check to rent an apartment, served with summons to appear in court, have your wages garnished, liens on property, and creditors calling several times a day. "What kind of life is that?"
