I know what you mean. I came here back in April or May when I considered filing BK. I stuck around a while and 13er was very helpful to me. 13er always had good advice and still is helpful today even though I have not been here for a while. I got tired of all the fighting and decided to look in on another forum someone suggested www.bkforum.com and was glad I did. I have since then filed and my 341 meeting is scheduled for 8-28-07. I am saying this with all honesty....www.bkforum.com helped me so much that I am suggesting that all on here just go there and check it out. What do you have to lose. Their suggestions got me through the entire process and there were many benefits to talking and posting with those who have done this before and take you through their step by step process. I learned a lot and I am now willing to help others in my position. I even filed pro se and it was a breeze. I spoke with lawyers at the bankruptcy helpdesk in my town and they did not give out legal advice, but did help me in all the other areas. It was so time consuming but worth it in the end.

Be careful when considering using companies offering credit counseling and debt consolidation services. Do a little reading to learn from other peoples experiences with debt consolidation and credit counseling. Then you can post questions here to get even more information about either credit counseling or debt consolidation.
