This is simple. Go and file a "repleven act". This will stop all motions and REQUIRE the other party to pay your fees with 10 business days.
: I was discharged from a Ch. 7 in July 05. I just sold my house and now the title
: company is withholding $6k because they found a judgement on me for that
: amount. I have talked to the collection attorneys for CitiBank and was told that the
: debt was indeed discharged...which is what I've been saying all along. Now, the title
: company calls me and tells me that CitiBank wants a payoff. This has been on/off
: on/off several times in the past week, starting with the closing. The title company is
: stuck in the middle, but they have to pay the collectors. Do I need to get an attorney
: to explain to CitiBank that this debt is no longer valid? I'm so confused. HELP!.
